Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of QuestVedas (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

1. The Service

QuestVedas is an AI-powered chat service that answers questions about the Vedas, drawing on public-domain English translations of the Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva Vedas and on general knowledge of the Vedic and Hindu traditions.

2. AI-generated content

Answers are generated by artificial intelligence and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are provided for educational and spiritual interest only and are not religious authority or professional (medical, legal, financial or psychological) advice. Please verify important information and consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Access to the chat requires a paid subscription, currently $9.99 per month (plus any applicable taxes). Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Payments are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments, whose terms also apply to your purchase. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy. We may change prices with advance notice before your next renewal.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, accessing it through automated means, sharing your account, reselling access, or using it for unlawful, hateful or harmful purposes.

6. Intellectual property

The Vedic source translations are in the public domain. The QuestVedas name, website design and software belong to us. You may use answers you receive for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
